"It is by catnip alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the oils of the nips that thoughts acquire speed, the lips acquire drool, drool become a warning. It is by catnip alone I set my mind in motion."

Memorial Day

VA » Office of Public Affairs » Memorial Day History
Purrrr Memorial Day started out in 1868 as Decoration Day, a day to decorate the graves of Civil War dead. There is some confusion as the meaning of Memorial Day. Some folks want to celebrate all soldiers, but dat not at all what it is. Some folks think it da opening of summer, or a nice time for a picnic.

Memorial Day is a time to remember fallen comrades. I like to tink it a day to eat and drink and listen to music for my OTRB friends, cuz dey can't any more.

Purrrr Dis my playlist. It a little darker dan da picnic and pawty music, but I tink it makes da point. I hope you enjoy!
