Why You Think This Shelter Should be a Santa Paws Drive Shelter for 2012 *

Dear Santa Paws,

There is a superstition in the US that black cats are bad luck. Because of this, black cats are the least likely to be adopted - and thus the most likely to be euthanized.

This makes no sense. Black cats in general are curious and the friendliest cats. They are cooperative and affectionate. This is a fact. Cats' personalities are linked to coat color!

Black Cat Rescue is NO-KILL. They have a network of volunteers who foster black cats and actively search for forever homes. They save lives!

Please stop up in Boston to bring gifts to Black Cat Rescue.
